Mission: to monitor and keep Club advised of conservation issues as they affect birds and bird habitat; to recommend to Council each year an appropriate use for WSB funds; to help raise WSB funds; to submit for publication in Larus articles on conservation issues; and to recommend to Council a recipient(s) each year for the Club's Conservation Award, if such a recipient is appropriate that year.

Rosalie Edge Conservation Award

Awarded at the annual banquet to one or more non-members, not necessarily a part of the birding community, in recognition of work done that has made a significant contribution to conservation of the environment.
