Habitat
Agricultural grain fields, farm feed lots and feeding stations.

Status and Distribution
Accidental winter visitor first seen from late August to early September on. Usually in mixed flocks with other blackbirds

Range
From British Columbia to southern Ontario and across western US to Texas.

Best locations
Salem County in NJ

Best time to see them
Winter

History / Records
Few records in PA, DE and NJ prior to 1960. 1st report was of a shot bird in PA in 1851.
