Immature male
in short trees and bushes along road, was observed from car at leisure
using 6 x 30 glasses. Appearance very mottled on bluish-gray background-
two bronzy, clearly defined wing bars, bill near size of that of Pine
Grosbeak and very light colored. Noticed Phoebelike switching of tail
several times when we first stopped the car. |
