DVOC Field Trip Report

May 4, 2008 (Sunday)
Fort Washington State Park

Leader: Bill and Naomi Murphy

Twelve people showed up for the DVOC spring bird walk at Ft. Washington
State Park on Sunday, June 4. The weather was great and the woods were
full of warbler song. We ended up with 17 species. Too bad the walk
wasn't on Saturday because we could have added Cerulean and
Yellow-throated Warblers to the list. It's great to be able to have so
many migrants so close to home. Especially with the current cost of
gasoline.
