Conowingo Dam

Our trip was to the Conowingo Dam and Perryville, Md. on Jan 24, 2009 with a temperature of 35 degrees. There were (7) seven club members on the trip. We had a fair day because of the ice on the Susquehanna River. We ended our day at 2:00 in Perryville, Md. We spotted 33 species during the day. Our best birds were many Bald Eagles, a Winter Wren, 2 Red-headed Woodpeckers, 50+ Great-blue Herons and about 40 Black Vultures.
