Pennsylvania Birding Trail - Information Needed
Dan Kunkle, Resource Specialist for the Delaware and Lehigh National Heritage Corridor and State Heritage Park (see also), is working on a project for DCNR (Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources).
This project is the creation of a birding trail for eastern Pennsylvania similar to the "New Jersey Birding and Wildlife Trails Guide for the Delaware Bayshore"
Here are the places in the greater Philadelphia area he needs information for:
John Heinz NWR at Tinicum
Ridley Creek State Park
Tyler Arboretum
Rose Tree Park Hawkwatch
Fort Washington State Park (Militia Hill)
Springton Reservoir
Valley Forge National Park
Schuylkill Center for Env. Ed.
Click here for the site information submission form. If you are familiar with any of these places, please fill one out for each site. Dan would like the forms back as soon as possible, but no later than April 30. The form is a pdf document which you will need to print out, fill in and mail.
Fill out as much information as you can on each site. Submit the forms even if you are missing some information
